Privacy Policy

1. Our principle: collect as little as possible

The Platform currently requires no account and does not ask for your name, phone number or other identity information. Your saved lists, AI chat history and application progress are stored entirely in your own browser's local storage — they are not uploaded to our servers, and clearing your browser data deletes them completely.

2. Data processing for AI features

When you use AI matching, the Essay Workshop or Mock Interview, the content you enter (student background, essay drafts, interview answers, etc.) is sent to our AI provider (DeepSeek) to generate responses; interviewer speech is synthesized by Microsoft's speech service (only the AI-generated question text is sent). This content is used solely to produce the current response and is not retained on our servers. Please avoid entering sensitive identity details such as passport or national ID numbers — a summary like "GPA 3.8, TOEFL 105" is enough, no real name needed.

3. Voice features

Speech recognition in the Mock Interview uses your browser's built-in capability and requires microphone permission. Speech joins the conversation only as recognized text; we do not store audio recordings. You can always type instead.

4. Payment information

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe; card details go directly to Stripe and never reach us. When you activate a membership, we only verify with Stripe that your purchase email has an active subscription. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

5. Cookies and analytics

The Platform currently uses no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party analytics. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server access logs (IP address, access time, etc.) for security and operations.

6. Minors

Our users include high-school students preparing to study abroad. We do not actively collect identity information from minors, and we recommend that minors use the Platform — especially paid features — under parental guidance.

7. Your rights and how to reach us

Because your data lives in your own browser, deleting it needs no request to us — just clear the site's data in your browser. For any privacy question or request, contact support@imyschool.co. See also the Terms of Service.
