1. What we provide
Myschool (imyschool.co, "the Platform") provides information and AI-assisted tools for students and families preparing applications to US schools, including a college database, AI college matching, essay coaching, mock interviews and application planning. The Platform is an information and tools service — not an application agency or advisor acting on your behalf. We do not act as your representative, do not submit applications on your behalf, and have no admission arrangements with any institution.
2. AI content disclaimer
College suggestions, essay feedback, interview reviews and similar content on the Platform are generated by artificial intelligence, are for reference only, and may contain errors or outdated information. Admission policies, costs and deadlines are governed by each school's official website. The Platform makes no promise or guarantee of any admission outcome; decisions made in reliance on the Platform are your own responsibility.
3. Academic integrity
The essay features provide brainstorming guidance and revision suggestions only — they do not write essays for you. All application materials you submit to schools must be your own work. Using AI to ghostwrite application materials may violate the academic-integrity policies of your target institutions and carry serious consequences; you bear that risk.
4. Membership and payments
Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; the Platform never touches your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically monthly or yearly. You can cancel at any time via the management link in your Stripe receipt email; after cancellation your benefits continue until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are generally non-refundable. For duplicate charges, malfunctions or other exceptional situations, contact support@imyschool.co.
5. Your data
No account is currently required. Your saved lists, chat history and progress are stored in your own browser; clearing browser data deletes them permanently. See the Privacy Policy for details.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the Platform for unlawful activity, bulk scraping, reverse engineering, resale of the service, or automated abuse of the AI features. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate service in cases of abuse.
7. Intellectual property
The Platform's interface, code and curated content belong to the Platform. You retain all rights to the content you enter (such as essay drafts); you grant us a license to process that content solely to provide the service to you.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform is not liable for indirect losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the service; our total liability for direct losses is capped at the fees you actually paid in the preceding twelve months.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time and will change the date above when we do; material changes will be flagged prominently on the site. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Questions? Contact support@imyschool.co.
